Advisor and Organizer — Course "Robotics Seminar"
Administrative Organization, Overarching Topic Conception, and Supervising student presentations and writing, facilitated seminar discussions.
I served as an advisor and organizer for the Robotics Seminar, contributing to both the academic and administrative organization of the course while mentoring two students each year. My responsibilities included:
Course organization
- Coordinating administrative aspects of the seminar
- Developing and refining the overarching seminar theme and topic structure
- Supporting the planning and smooth execution of seminar sessions
Student supervision
- Mentoring two students per year throughout the seminar
- Advising on presentation preparation and delivery
- Supporting the development and refinement of written reports and seminar papers
- Providing guidance on technical content, research methodology, and scientific communication
Seminar facilitation
- Facilitating seminar discussions and encouraging critical engagement with presented work
- Providing constructive feedback on presentations and ongoing research
- Actively participating in discussions alongside students, PhD researchers, and the supervising professor (Oliver Brock)
Focus topics: Robotics, perception, computational models of intelligence
